As much as I do not like Laurel at the end of the season she seemed to be important for something here. Heroes either have a newspaper/reporter they can influence or have a lawyer as their ‘girl’-friend to help them get out of situations like the one Oliver found himself in, in Damaged. Oliver thought those he had chosen to use would actually follow along and let him play out his charade. Of course he seemed way too cocky, which Diggle was happy to point out. I believe the quote ” you know us rich boys, we love our toys,” was coined in this episode. Oliver was in his high at this point he had not gotten “burned”…yet.
